Pandacat Inc. ("Company", "we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with our hardware testing application, Testi Testi ("Application"). This policy applies to all users of the Application.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
We designed Testi Testi with your privacy in mind. The Application operates almost entirely on your local device (in your browser). We do not create user accounts, and we do not collect or store any personal information that could directly identify you, such as your name, email address, or IP address.
3. Information Processed for Hardware Tests
When you use the Application, you interact directly with your device's hardware. For example:
- Camera Test: Your camera feed is displayed directly on your screen. The video stream is not sent to our servers.
- Microphone Test: Your microphone input is used to generate a real-time visualizer in your browser. Audio data is not sent to our servers unless you use the AI analysis feature.
- Keyboard Test: Key presses are registered locally to provide visual feedback and are not recorded or transmitted.
4. AI-Powered Microphone Quality Analysis
If you choose to use the "Record & Analyze" feature in the Microphone Test, a short audio clip (approximately 5 seconds) is recorded. This audio data is sent to a third-party generative AI service (Google's Gemini models) for the sole purpose of analyzing the microphone quality.
- The audio data is sent securely to the AI service.
- We do not store your audio recording on our servers.
- The AI service processes the audio to generate a quality report and does not use it for any other purpose. Your data is subject to the privacy policies of the AI service provider.
5. Data Security
Since we do not collect or store personal data, the risk of a data breach from our servers is minimized. Any data transmitted to third-party AI services is sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.
6. Children's Privacy
Our Application is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
